Healing Through Forgiving

Unforgiveness is a hidden but massive societal problem in our world.

Forgiveness is a process where someone who has been wronged chooses to let go of their resentment, and treat the wrongdoer with compassion.

In the face of a transgression when we are deeply hurt or betrayed by a close one, it is easy to feel hatred and desire revenge. It is much harder, however, to feel benevolence toward the transgressor and to truly forgive.

Hidden Scars is an organisation that focuses on sharing the power of letting go and helping people through the process of forgiving.

Who we are

Research has shown that forgiveness is linked to mental health outcomes such as reduced anxiety, depression and fewer physical health symptoms. The practise of forgiving not only reverses the resentment but also significantly decreases the other negative psychological concomitants which accompany the toxicity of resentment.

At Hidden Scars, we will debunk the misconceptions around forgiveness so that people can feel empowered to let go of their unforgiveness. By sharing the power of forgiveness with individuals and groups, we aim to inspire people to choose forgiveness because it has the potential to help many people restore their hidden scars.
